The C-300 uses the power provided by the aircraft's mic jack.  It uses the power your aircraft already supplies to your headset's microphone to power the ANR circuitry as well.  It is a very efficient, yet effective design, that has been years in the making! NOW it's good to go! How do I use it? All you do is plug it in like a regular headset. The C-300 ramps up its ANR output gradually (it's designed that way) but within a few seconds the noise cancellation becomes apparent.  Its Active NRR is -19 dB which puts it right on par with all but the most expensive ANR headsets - without batteries.  Plus is has a passive NRR of -24 dB's.
